Experience LOUMED’s New Green Space
Join us in celebrating a major milestone as LOUMED Commons opens to the public on Wednesday, November 19.
This new park in the heart of the Louisville Medical & Education District offers a welcoming space to connect, recharge and enjoy the outdoors. The celebration begins with a press conference and time capsule ceremony at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch from local food trucks and an opportunity to explore the park throughout the day.
LOUMED Commons is located at 316 East Chestnut Street.
Planning is moving forward to reimagine Chestnut Street as the spine of LOUMED. This work is happening in partnership with Louisville Metro, Gresham Smith and UofL’s Envirome Institute.
